Bosch has been present in Malaysia since 1923, represented by Robert Bosch Sdn Bhd, with offices located in Selangor and Penang. In Malaysia, Bosch has diversified businesses in Mobility Solutions, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, and Energy and Building Technology. The company has three manufacturing plants in Penang providing Car Multimedia, Power Tools and Automotive Steering systems. In 2017, Malaysia contributed sales of RM 615 million (127 million euro) and employed more than 2,800 associates.

• End-to-end responsibility for plant logistics processes incl. efficient operations.
• Supervision of Logistics department (Warehouse management (LOM), Logistics Innovation, IT Systems and Process (LOI)) and ensures that departmental goals and budget settings are met. Long-term goal: Further integrate and supervise Value Stream Logistic Planning(LOP) functions.
• Provides a high level of customer service through timely response to delivery, transparency and commitment to inquiries.
• Acts as connecting bridge across functions within the supply chain. Coordinates between departments and related Bosch divisions to ensure continuity of supply and fulfillment of customer delivery requirements.
• Maintains and fosters a close exchange with the logistics community across plants, business units and division for effective alignments and good-practice sharing.
• Monitors relevant KPIs; defines, initiates and manages relevant processes / capabilities.
• Ensures application of standard procedures and processes to meet industry standards and best-in-class solutions.
• Leads and participates actively in Bosch Production System (BPS) related activities.
• Ensures that all relevant competencies are covered; coaches and develops staff team members.
• Distributes knowledge, lessons learned and good practice (shared intelligence) to improve performance and achieve logistics operative excellence.
• Lives and fosters a high performance culture within working environment.
• Any other duties assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

• Bachelor Degree /Master Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Logistics/Supply Chain Management with six to seven years related experience in supply chain management and at least three years leadership experience.
• Profound logistics understanding including Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and physical material flow.
• Good understanding of plant operations and continuous improvement mindset.
• Experienced leader with profound conflict management abilities.
• Understanding about relevance and push of digitalization and data analytics.
• Goal-orientation with structured way of working.
