Job Description
- This role oversees end-to-end logistics operations, encompassing shipping, receiving, issuing, and billing functions for raw materials to finished products.
- Lead and manage Logistics, Custom Compliance, and Warehouse departments by developing effective strategies and systems.
- Establish supply strategies to ensure compliant, high-quality, secure, and cost-competitive products and services are consistently provided.
- Implement Warehouse & Logistics systems and procedures to enhance cost efficiency and reduce risks.
- Ensure all purchases align with Company Policies, Procedures, and approved Delegation of Authority (DOA).
- Develop supply chain to reduce lead time and costs, optimizing overall material costs to meet demand.
- Handle customs and banking formalities, adhering to evolving procedures and regulations.
- Guarantee compliance with all import/export regulatory requirements.
- Foster close coordination with Operations and Support departments to maintain smooth production processes.
- Maintain certification in Dangerous/Hazardous/Restricted Goods Regulations for safe shipment.
- Oversee automated systems like Oracle for seamless operations.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and internal requirements, including EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) standards.
- Provide support for EHS requirements, directly or indirectly.
- Undertake any other assigned duties as necessary.
10 years of working experience in any manufacturing industry, including 3-5 years in a managerial role.
Preferably experienced in Logistics, Material & Warehouse Management, or a related field
Proficient in coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, liaising with various stakeholders such as freight forwarders, courier services, shipping agents, airport and seaport authorities, MITI, MIDA, Customs, and Samalaju FIZ authority.
Demonstrated track record in implementing inventory management strategies and reduction programs * Willing to work based in Bintulu, Sarawak.
