Your Job: Lead, direct and manage the logistics function of the Mill. This position lead function of Supply Planning, Raw material warehouse and Import / Export coordination. It is a key member of the mill management team and effective performance of these functions contributes significantly to the overall operational efficiency of the mill. Proactively promote, participate and provide supports in the development and maintenance of the Mill Environment, Health and Safety Management System (EHSMS) in a manner that will help to eliminate occupational injuries and illness at the mill as well as the Quality Management System that comply to the desired requirement and meeting the CSCU expectation through consistent implementations of the established standards. This role must manage often competing expectations of mill operations desiring operating stability when market needs drive pressure for flexibility. The mill organization generally is focused on the effective operation of its assets. This position controls many inputs to, and the scheduling of, those assets so local expectations can be high. With a large staff of logistics operators and as part of the mill management team leading an even larger group, people management and industrial relations pressures are demanding. Driven by You Role Overview & Primary Accountabilities: Develop medium term (12 month) supply plans to support business objectives:

• Manage mill inventory levels: ensure on regular developing of inventory targets to support continuous plant operation according to production plans.
• Lead production planning activities to ensure manufacturing capacity profiles (rate/routings etc), BOM\xe2\x80\x99s and production versions are accurate and up to date and maintain where appropriate.
• Obtain details of all planned product upgrade/introduction/obsolescence from business teams
• Developed balanced plan.
• Monitor near term schedules for conformance to plan.
• Ensure on disposition of obsolete materials to meet the needs of the business.

Coordinate with regional planner to provide information of term (1-5 years) capacity planning allow capital management decisions:

• Project macro capacity profiles in the long term
• Incorporate long term business forecasts and plans/strategies.
• Develop potential scenarios including alternative sources/locations and identify key sensitivities.
• Exchange needs/options/constraints with sector manufacturing/marketing/product development/finance to identify best fit scenarios.
• Report and recommend to business.
• Lead the deploy planner to develop short term deployment plans and initiate execution.

Monitor very near-term fluctuations in inventory level vs. target:

• Monitor near term production schedules.
• Identify priorities for available inventory.
• Combine replenishment requirements into unit freight loads.
• Initiate orders for required loads.

Lead warehouse operations areas to maximize performance:

• Promote and monitor safety performance and cascade information/initiatives.
• Manage operating procedures and local security measures.
• Ensure physical inventory control procedures include best-practices for achieving accuracy of inventory records.
• Ensure techniques and practices achieve operating efficiency expectations.

Develop business plans and strategies for mill logistics and control against these:

• Develop, and monitor performance against, department expense budget.
• Develop warehouse infrastructure plans including buildings and operating equipment.
• Manage or contribute to management of infrastructure projects.

Lead Import & Export shipping clearance operation activities to maximize performance:

• Ensure on timely and accurately of all shipping clearance.
• Ensure all process is in line with Custom Regulatory, Local Law, Internal Control
• Promote monitoring all purchased, sold or transferred imported and exported items.
• Manage operating procedures.

Essential Requirements:

• Degree in related discipline with minimum of 10 years\' experience worked in operation/logistic field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in management role.
• Strong leadership qualities (LQs) with excellence interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to make sound decision with calculated risks.
• English fluency in both writing and speaking.
• Having experience in SAP will be an added advantage
