Job Description

Our client is the property arm of a local conglomerate. In order to support rapid and aggressive expansion, our client is looking for a talented and dynamic professional to be a part of their Senior Manager / Manager - Leasing.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and propose tenant mix for commercial development projects.
• Identify, shortlist, and engage potential prospects for various retail concepts in the firm\'s commercial developments.
• Generate leads for leasing opportunities and negotiate deals from start to finish.
• Provide guidance on appropriate rental rates for different development and tenant categories to maximize rental income.
• Plan, negotiate, and execute lease agreements, including onboarding and renewals.
• Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with landlords and tenants.
• Oversee fit-out compliance activities and ensure smooth handover processes.
• Create and implement marketing and promotional campaigns, as well as tenant-related promotions.
• Monitor rental payments, follow up on arrears, and address defaulting issues.
• Establish and manage a tenancy administration and leasing operations team.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in mall leasing (Manager) or over 8 years of experience (Senior Manager), preferably in successful malls or similar commercial/retail developments, with proficiency in leasing term negotiations.
• Experience in dealing with a diverse range of tenants, especially popular retail and F&B brands, and possess a strong network within the retail industry.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
• Knowledge of the Johor retail/leasing market is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel to Johor as needed (approximately 50% of the time).
