In your new role you will: Operations -Handle escalation to suppliers especially on deliveries & quality matter -Team up with LOG for spare part management -Main interface to segment & development management for equipment & spares cost down projects, improvement projects and reporting Supplier Management -Drives Vendor Performance review with segment & respective buyers -Responsible for high level supplier management escalation for equipment delivery matters -Coach buyers on presentation of review sessions with suppliers & internal stakeholders Leadership -Coaching & mentoring new 7 existing team members -Organizing team strategy & task management for buyers, to maintain efficiencies, supply securities & best value purchased -Responsible for team motivation and team attrition rate Others -Set policies &guidelines for team member -Consolidate & analyze reports and provide monthly reporting to PROC HOD on team\'s achievement -Responsible for alignment with core buyer to team\'s strategies Your Profile You are best equipped for this task if you have: Bachelor Degree in Business Admin (BA)/ Economics or Engineering with good BA knowledge and experience Good knowledge in procurement processes, tools & methods Good interpersonal skill and negotiation skills Contract management Benefits What we offer you in Melaka Melaka is our biggest production site wordwide with more than 7000 employees.
