Manage and supervise a team of QA/QC personnel to work in accordance to established QMS requirements, initiate improvement activities, and ensure that products are manufactured to Client, Company and industrial specifications. A) Quality Assurance 1) Establish Inspection & Test Plan to client specifications, API 6A/6D/6DSS and ASME/ASTM standards. 2) Develop project specific documentations such as NDT procedures, project quality plan, inspection/welding procedures, etc. for submission at the start of a project. 3) Participate in project strategy/kick off meetings with customers/internal staff to agree and confirm quality requirements to specifications. 4) Lead investigation to determine root cause on product failure due to internal manufacturing/supplier non conformance and customer complaints/field failures. 5) Coordinate with stakeholders to come out with corrective/improvement actions to prevent recurrence of quality issues. 6) Support the welding engineer in the review of WPS/PQR and welding quality control. 7) Take part in pre-inspection (PIM) meeting with customer to confirm compliance to project requirements and agreement on inspection points. 8) Organise third party inspections to ensure independent inspection, witness and documentation reviews are implemented as per ITP requirements. 9) Review raw materials test certificates to check for compliance to ITP/PO requirements. 10) Ensure that Manufacturing Data Books are compiled in time on completion of a project. 11) Liaise with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues related to the project/PO. 12) Support Sales team in tender review/clarifications on quality matters during bidding/tendering stage. 13) Work with other departments to establish/improve QMS procedures and work instructions to enhance products and processes. 14) Report recurring quality issues/trends to Management, and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and quality. 15) Support the VP QHSE in QMS/ISO9001/API audit and process improvement. B) Quality Control Supervise and work with the QC team to ensure product compliance: 1) Receiving, in-process and final inspections & tests are carried out. 2) Dimension checks are verified that machining was done to specifications. 3) NDT are carried out to check for product defects. 4) NCR are raised for any product non conformances or components rejects 5) Communicate with suppliers to improve product quality. 6) Data analyses are carried out to look for non-conformance trends. 7) Raw materials are procured to ITP requirements 8) Equipment/tools are calibrated according to defined frequency. C) Others 1) Guide and train QAQC staff work correctly to QAQC methodology and systems. 2)Identify QAQC bottlenecks and initiate actions for improvement 3)\xef\xbb\xbfEnsure QAQC staffs are trained and work in compliance and safely to Quality & HSE policies and procedures. \xef\xbb\xbfKey Selection Criteria \xef\xbb\xbf1) Must have hands-on work experience in ISO 9001 QMS and Quality Assurance/Quality Control function. 2)Experience in API Q1, 6D, 6DSS, 6A, 17D, CE-PED, ATEX and ISO 17025 will be an added advantage. 3) Familiar with Statistical Controls, 6-Sigma concept. 4) Possess strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills. 5) Experience in handling quality issues, customer complaints and its investigation. 6) Possessed leadership and presentation skill. 7) Computer literate. \xef\xbb\xbfQualification & Years of Experiences \xef\xbb\xbf1) Candidate must possess a Degree in Engineering, with industrial knowledge/certificate in ISO9001/API standards, NDT and welding. 2) At least 5 years of work /management experience in quality assurance/quality control in oil & gas industry, preferably in valve manufacturing.
