SUMMARY

This role shall lead the Sourcing & Procurement (S&P) function for a client as stated above. The role will be in Malaysia. The role will also support and execute strategic outsourcing, cost savings and vendor management programs to support JLL\xe2\x80\x99s S&P commitments.

OVERALL ROLE

This role reports directly to the Regional Director, Procurement (Client), with a matrix reporting line to the Country Account Lead (Client) and requires a multi-disciplined subject matter expert in Integrated Facility Management (IFM), to manage complex initiatives and integrated outsourcing programs.

Responsibility also extends to procurement governance, vendor management and deliver contract / procurement strategies to achieve long term client benefits.

This role requires experience in facilities management and or procurement activity to support the portfolio of facilities in Malaysia and Singapore. This includes engagement with local IFM teams to execute vendor sourcing and savings projects through effective negotiation and RFP programs.

The account requires high levels of activity in the vendor management space, including regular RFP execution management. The role includes the oversight and timely management of these multiple RFP and contract negotiations.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Business partner to Senior leaders

  • Provide strategic S&P direction across functional areas and programs that involve strategic outsourcing and vendor management across multiple IFM disciplines.
  • Active vendor management in the form of quarterly business reviews.
  • Lead process of developing vendor management strategy, identifying, sourcing, and securing resource based on business requirements
Functional Leadership
  • Manage the RFP, pricing and negotiation process for the client on behalf of JLL,
  • Provide account support in managing the Jones Lang LaSalle ERP Procurement Module. This includes system training, vendor performance management, and providing regular reporting to client account teams.
  • Assist in developing and communicating the IFM and S&P vision to the client, JLL, vendors and Strategic Alliance Partners.
  • Supports the strategies for negotiation of major programs, projects and/or vendor activities.
Operational Leadership
  • Implement, and operate integrated outsourcing strategies, standards and guidelines, training, costing parameters and tools/templates.
  • Set savings targets and goals for IFM, S&P programs, and developing metrics for tracking performance.
  • Implementing and maintaining procurement rules and standards set by JLL and client.
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION: KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Ideal Experience
  • Business / Commerce Degree with at least 8 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in procurement, strategic sourcing and negotiations.
  • Relevant work experience in IFM with knowledge of procurement for services related to facility management will be highly regarded.
  • Management experience in integrated outsourcing and supply chain management and procurement.
  • Practical knowledge of facilities management, maintenance operations and engineering and risk management and capable of changing them to meet new and evolving needs will be highly regarded.
  • Management of outsourcing relationships and the ability to accomplish results through vendor management.
  • Execution of vendor contracts between the company and the vendor, drawing upon good contract management skills, negotiation and problem solving.
