We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Manager - Talent Acquisition based in our Tricor Management Services Sdn Bhd, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Reporting to the Director of Global Talent Acquisition, this full-time and permanent position is based in Bangsar South and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our company and its\' growth.

Key responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition Strategy:

  • Collaborate with business leaders to define talent needs, sources, attraction strategies, and hiring processes specific to Malaysia or SEA region.
  • Implement and oversee recruitment programs, including meticulous planning and coordination.
  • Develop robust recruitment strategies rooted in a deep understanding of local talent profiles.
  • Cultivate talent pipelines using a variety of channels, such as social media, recruiting events, and strategic partnerships.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the TA process to ensure excellence tailored to the local/regional context.
Stakeholder Management:
  • Build strong working relationships with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and colleagues, particularly focusing on Malaysia-based requirements.
  • Collaborate with line managers to plan and execute targeted talent pipeline strategies.
  • Act as a TA Business Partner, managing expectations and educating stakeholders on TA processes pertinent to the region.
  • Monitor key resourcing KPIs and take action to meet talent pipeline metrics.
  • Foster strong working relationships with Department Heads, internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on hiring expectations and delivery.
Managing TA Experience and Process:
  • Contribute to the evolution of recruitment processes specific to Malaysia, enhancing both the candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand job scopes, talent needs, and unique challenges.
  • Oversee talent acquisition programs and initiatives, encompassing internal mobility, referrals, internships, and participation in career fairs.
  • Lead the TA team in managing the candidate journey from end to end.
  • Represent Malaysia and ensure alignment with the global talent acquisition function - i.e. consistent process adoption, use of V-Connect, and other initiatives.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders to streamline TA processes for ongoing improvements.
  • Design, analyze, track, and report on TA metrics specifically tailored, with the aim of increasing efficiency and optimizing costs.
  • Gather and analyze feedback for continuous improvement, ensuring a locally relevant approach.
  • Explore new ways of working to ensure an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience in Kuala Lumpur.
Vendor Management:
  • Review TA-related vendors/agencies in Kuala Lumpur to maintain productive relationships.
  • Assess vendor needs and performance for the region, ensuring a positive ROI.
  • Serve as a bridge between external vendors and internal partners for Kuala Lumpur-based operations.
Team Management:
  • Supervise and coach the Country TA team based in Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru to achieve TA goals specific to the region.
  • Motivate and inspire team members to perform at their best, particularly in the context of local operations.
  • Set clear team goals, assign tasks, and proactively address conflicts.
  • Plan team initiatives and align team members towards the achievement of local goals.
Key requirements:
  • Prior experience as a TA Leader within the relevant scope of the SE Asia region, with a focus on Malaysia.
  • A minimum of 8+ years of work experience in recruitment and human resource management, including strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, and employer branding.
  • A BSc/BA in Business Administration, human resources, or a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and a strategic mindset, coupled with leadership skills and the ability to work as part of a global Talent Acquisition Function.
  • Comfort in operating within a distributed team environment and an ability to work effectively within a matrix environment, managing requisition deliverables specific to Malaysia.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
