The company provides airfreight, sea freight, customs brokerage, local transportation, warehousing, and distribution services. They provide logistics and supply chain solutions to aerospace, automotive, chemical, oil & gas, wine and spirits, and manufacturing industries. Reporting to the General Manager, Contract Logistics and E-Commerce, the Senior Manager, Warehouse will be responsible to manage the 3PL logistics operation of assigned warehouses and contract logistics. The role
Providing leadership, coaching and developing the team by using the relevant tools and processes.
Ensure effective communication with all levels including stakeholders, managers and internal staffs.
Implement the strategy and supervise the tender desk activities.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and optimize operations.
Ensure regular cycle count, review all operational processes and resources to maximize operations efficiencies and customer expectations/KPI.
Provide storage and logistics solutions for existing and potential customers.
Ensure that productivity is maintained to maximize profit on files and exact costs are entered into relevant systems for analysis and reporting.
Ensure accruals/estimates match the invoices supplied by our suppliers before approving their invoices.
Involve and implement new project management for new clients.
Ensure all procedures and regulations are in line with ISO9001, ISO45001 and ISO14001 requirements.
Responsible for the area or branch P&L, reporting analytics and submission.
Training & development for QHSE training program, and support all QHSE related initiatives.
Managing QHSE program for the logistics site including reporting, auditing and system compliance.
Comply with all BL QHSE Integrated Management System policies and procedures.
Keep informed all QHSE information provided by the company in accordance with any legislation, code of practice and guidelines and liaise as necessary with the relevant government departments and private bodies.
Incident reporting, dangerous occurrence, or a risk of imminent and serious injury or harm to the health of any person at the workplace, report the matter to your Superior.
Report to your Superior any hazard or potential hazard to which any person is, or might be, exposed to at the workplace.
The requirements
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain or Engineering or equivalent.
10-15 years of experiences in the logistics industry
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience and specialize in Contract Logistics.
Work under pressure and deal with tight deadlines with resilience.
Strong leadership and able to work with a team.
Strong project management, planning and organizational skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and effective communication skills.
