Job Description

Responsibilities:

? Develop systems that are reliable and effective by mitigating risk and reducing failure

? Gather requirements, develop models and create prototypes in a timely and effective manner to increase a project's safety and success

? Identifies, formulate and solve engineering problems

? Design and development of mechanical components from concept through production.

? Thorough design analysis and optimization of mechanical components including considerations of design for manufacturing and cost.

? Plan and manage mechanical design schedules.

? Interface with customers and functional owners on mechanical design issues.

? Responsible for complete design assembly drawings and detailed part drawings.

? Checking of drawings and preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM).

? Must prepare to travel local and overseas.

? Be aware of the risks and opportunities related to the job assigned.

? Be aware of the needs and expectations of the interested party, the consequences of failure and their impact.

Qualifications:

? Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent/related field.

? At least minimum 3 - 5 years and above of working experience in the Automation field is required for this position. Fresh graduates also can be considered.

? Experience Sheet Metal, mechanical assembly processes as well as high level of understanding of machine design and fabrication.

? Require Machine Troubleshooting skill.

? Possess project management and job coordination skills.

? Good English Communication skill.

? Good problem solving, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

? Knowledge of mechanical design using 3D Solidworks and AutoCad design software.

? Knowledge of Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.

? Knowledge in automation systems and tools - pneumatic, hydraulic, robotic, vision, material handling, conveyors, screws/fasteners, inspection/test, Dispense process, Material selection etc.

? Knowledge in Design FMEA, Machine OEE, Gauge R&R and etc

? Able to work under tight schedules to complete the design job on time.

? Other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors from time to time.

? To comply with all requirements of ISO (inclusive of all standards approved by the Management) and to adhere to general safety practices, standard operating procedure, work instructions, policies and guidelines provided by the company.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
