Manage and operate a high available, resilient, scalable and adaptable network infrastructure that provides for converged services.
Maintain and support Group Network Infrastructure (GNI) day to day operations to ensure network high availability and uptime with agreed SLA and good network performance.
Maintain and support GNI architecture strategies and planning.
Maintain and support GNI architecture design and development plan.
Maintain and support GNI technology enhancement refresh and update.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain, operate and support GNI in terms of availability, efficiency, scalability, resiliency and cost effectiveness
Gather and review technical aspect of various technologies, solutions and design and continual set improvement on existing GNI
Manage, support, and review in country & overseas country offices network infrastructure
Maintain and process GNI network fault, performance, asset and accounting management operations
Maintain and process GNI process alert notification, problem escalation, routine checklist, telecommunication list & network inventory list
Periodic check and fine-tuning GNI to meet changing business requirements
Prioritize GNI implementation and enhancement at low operating cost
Follow-up GNI project & ensure timely delivery
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly network fault and performance reporting
Ensure any potential network challenges such as performance degradation, reliability & outage are address timely and proactively
Follow-up and prepare network reporting for incident, mitigation, damage assessment and corrective measures
Maintain GNI documents, SOP, procedures, guidelines, etc.
Ensure GNI is complied with IT policies, statutory regulation and applicable laws.
Perform cross support function within Network Management structure
Check in country and overseas country offices GNI meet service level agreement.
Follow-up on GNI alert notification and Careline PTL to address GNI issue in timely manner.
Process on GNI performance statistic through daily routine checklist and telecommunication checklist to ensure GNI operate optimally
Gather network bandwidth congestion, high latency, CRC error statistic to allow for analysis and improvement recommendation.
Prepare network management network fault and performance reporting to meet monthly management SLA update.
Follow-up on Service Incident Report (SIR) / Request For Outage (RFO) report from telco and compliance with SOP.
Follow-up on GNI issues with all telco to ensure timely closure of tickets.
Collaborate with DR Team in the successful execute of DRP/BCP exercises involving network components.

Professional Accreditation:
Cisco Certification (CCNP)

Preferred level of Experience (by years/function/industry):
Minimum 4 years' experience in designing, implementing, supporting & operating network infra
Technical knowledge of network troubleshooting on LAN and WAN, Designing and Implementing, Configuring and installing on various Network devices and Network performance fine tuning
Understanding on network protocols (EIGRP, BGP, OSPF) and OSI or TCPIP Model
Knowledge of networking - OSI layer and TCPIP suite and architecture (IPv4, IPv6, ARP, NAT, IPsec, ICMP, IP Datagram, TCP and UDP Protocol, DNS, DHCP, SNMP. Etc)
Knowledge and skill in implementing, setup, configure, administer, managed and troubleshoot Layer 2 & Layer 3 network infrastructure (Routing, IP segmentation, HSRP, GLBP, VRRP, VLAN, STP, LACP, NTP, DNS, DHCP, IPv4, SNMP, Logging, ACL, ARP, MAC, Security Hardening, Etc.)
Knowledge and skill in implementing, setup, configure, administer, managed and troubleshoot Wireless network infrastructure
Knowledge and skill using network sniffer tool to troubleshoot network issue, identify root cause and rectification
Knowledge and skill on Network Management System usage network log analysis, network trending and analysis and network capacity planning.
Knowledge and skill preparing technical network incident report and network analysis reports
Ability to manage and deploy small network infrastructure project
