About our client:
Our client is a US based MNC and a leader in manufacturer of electronic, electrical, and fibre optic connectivity systems. They offer over 100,000 products across a variety of industries, including data communications, medical, industrial, automotive and consumer electronics. It is considered the second largest electronic connector company in the world.

Responsibilities:

• Make production planning and control on inventory to meet customer request date (date), and customer satisfaction while working on maximizing 3rd Party Revenue with optimized inventory level.
• Plan and drive the production team to meet MPD/ CRD goals by putting up a good production plan to produce the right stock at the right time.
• Work with vendor on delivery commitment towards monthly GR target.
• Need to review open backlog and forecast based on capacity available in detail before creating good Production Order to production to maximize 3rd Party Revenue.
• In the event failed production plan and causing a serious delivery issue, need to call a meeting to get a recovery plan and advise the delivery plan to the ESR team or escalate to the AA manager /HOD for help.
• Prepare a master plan for one month if the PN falls under \xe2\x80\x98allocation\xe2\x80\x99 where Capacity is less than demand and make changes very frequently.
• Need to work with the Site Supply planning and DM team on the forecast and follow up to get the order to deplete S&E if have any.
• The planner is a key window for Delivery Management to commit and advise shipment plans to the customer and hold high responsibilities to ensure work towards CRD / MPD goals by executing both internal and external production plans, rework orders, block stock, and all related issues.
• Review constraints series capacity status, update, and review Capacity Chart on monthly basis for constraints parts and work together with SSP, ME, and Production/ Engineering team for solutions to avoid customer line down.
• Review and commit good receipts (output) and revenue for the engineering series that are in charge to the manager and execute per commitment on monthly basis.
• Monitor inventory movement and work with the Site Supply Planning planner to build the right buffer stock at the right time.
• And control on End-to-end DSI on the connector to have the best optimum inventory control.
• Review DSI, S&E, and Past shelf life monthly to control the inventory scrap.
• Review and act on Published lead time set in the system vs.
• Actual taken to meet plant matrix goal on monthly basis.
• Back up another planner whenever they are on leave, MC, emergency leave, or during short-handed.
• Support company\xe2\x80\x99s initiatives on EICC, TS16949, and ISO 9001/14001.
• TQM, GLSS project etc.
• To practice MBM in daily work.

• Perform planning analyses & drive to maximize capacity and output.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Communicate effectively both in writing, one on one verbally, and in group meetings.
• Good interpersonal skills
