Company BackgroundWe are representing our client; one of the leading pastries and bakeries in Perak. Currently with 14 bakeries outlet in Perak, along with 2 hype and buzzing pastries cafxc3xa9s in Selangor.Work Location: Bangi, SelangorWorking Hours: 4am - 1pm/6 days. Off day on weekdaysAccommodation allowance provided (for outstation candidates)Main Responsibilities:

• Uphold top-tier quality and consistency across all pastry and bakery products.
• Innovate and refine recipes, ensuring an authentic yet contemporary product offering.

• Oversee quality control processes to maintain high standards in taste, texture, and presentation.

• Manage inventory of baking ingredients to ensure freshness and availability.

• Provide training and mentorship to junior bakers, cultivating a culture of excellence.

• Collaborate with product development and management teams to launch new and seasonal creations in line with market trends.

• Maintain strict hygiene and safety protocols, ensuring a clean and professional workspace.

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of relevant pastry or bakery experience.

• A culinary degree or equivalent certification in pastry arts, bakery, or related fields.

• Proven expertise as a Pastry Chef, Bakery Chef, or R&D Chef, specializing in bakery innovations.

• Strong leadership and communication skills to manage and inspire a team.

• Deep knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient properties, and recipe creation.

• A creative and innovative mindset, with a passion for exploring flavors, textures, and presentations.

• Familiarity with food regulations, labeling, and industry best practices, particularly in bakery R&D.

• High attention to detail, ensuring strict adherence to food safety and quality standards.
