Get to know the Role

• Manage a variety of complex, cross-functional programs and lead all aspects of assigned programs delivery. Get a taste for how Grab really works, behind the scenes.
• As a Senior Program Manager, you\'ll be the bridge between Business and Engineering, by working with people from all parts of Grabs online and offline/operational teams to deliver new features to market that impact the lives of millions of passengers, drivers and merchants every day.
• Create and maintain the Delivery Roadmap for the teams you work closely with, along with the respective Tech and Product leaders.
• Define the way of driving these programs and constantly find ways of improving this process in a data driven manner. Owners of the collaboration process and tools.
• Embrace Grab\'s culture and principles and promote an environment which embodies Grab\'s Principle and Values.

The Day-to-Day Activities

• General Program management - manage project timelines, define milestones, track and report progress, identify risks, and resolve impediments
• Work with cross-functional teams of Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, Analysts, and QA to ensure successful program delivery.
• Be the primary communication interface for complex programs that span across multiple engineering organizations
• Drive roadmap planning and prioritization processes
• Continuously find ways to help teams and the organization improve how it delivers.
• Manage our campus outreach programs for Grab Engineering Internship programs
• Organizing external Engineering outreach programs such as Hackathons, Engineering Roadshows, and Technical Events.
• Support Tech Family hiring as needed
• Flexibility to support other non-PM duties as agreed by the hiring manager

Qualifications

The Must-Haves

• Experience range of 5 to 8 years managing Agile software projects
• A project delivery background and strong organizational and interpersonal skills, will enable you to succeed in Grabs fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills to handle leadership stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and a proven track record of getting things done.
• Experience working in a dynamic fast fast-moving environment where autonomy and self-decision are needed and also able to effectively prioritize.
• Lead agile squad(s) to perform the daily ritual
• Highlight any roadblocks to the Leads or clear it as and when possible
• Work closely with users and technical team from user stories till the actual implementation
• Guide and work with the team on sprint planning and retrospective review, and agreed amongst the squad members on the Definition of Done (requirements, concepts, preparation and execution of tests, analysis of test results)
• Responsible for working across teams and coordinating across other application stakeholders.
• Experience working with higher education learning institutions to create internship programs or campus outreach programs
• Experience in talent acquisition for engineering teams
