Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for multiple large-scale hotel & resort interior design and fit-out projects (RM10mil - RM200mil).
Oversee the full project lifecycle: initiation, planning, design coordination, execution, monitoring, cost control, risk management, and closure.
Lead project planning using
Microsoft Project (or equivalent tools)
to ensure accurate scheduling, resource allocation, and timely delivery.
Ensure all projects are completed within budget, on schedule, and meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the key liaison with project owners, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities.
Drive project progress through regular site visits, project reviews, and steering meetings with stakeholders.
Oversee preparation of project costing, budgets, cash flow forecasts, schedules, and executive progress reports for Management.
Monitor contractors' progressive claims, certifications, and payments to ensure financial control and contractual compliance.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the project management team to ensure alignment with company goals, high performance, and professional growth.
Establish, review, and continuously improve project management processes, best practices, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Provide regular reporting and updates directly to the
Managing Director/Group CEO/Group Deputy CEO
on project portfolio performance, risks, and opportunities.
Requirements:
Minimum
10 years of relevant working experience
, with at least
5 years in senior management roles
within Interior Fit-Out, Construction, or related industries.
Proven track record of successfully delivering
large-scale projects exceeding RM10mil
, preferably hotel & resort projects.
Strong expertise in
Microsoft Project
(or equivalent project planning software) for scheduling and resource management.
Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-value projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in
English and Bahasa Malaysia
; proficiency in
Mandarin
is an added advantage.
Strong financial acumen with experience in project budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to perform under pressure.
Willing to travel frequently and be stationed at project sites (including outstation) when required.

Monday-Friday 9am-6pm,
Saturday 9am-3pm
