\xef\xbb\xbfClient Background: MNC company.Industry : ManufacturingLocation: Kulai, JohorHeadcount: 1Position Title : Manufacturing EngineerTenure: PermanentRemuneration: RM3,000 - RM6,000Responsibilities\xc2\xb7 Responsible for the day-to-day purchasing and sourcing activities for materials, services, equipment, machinery, and fixed assets could generate more cost savings for the company locally and overseas.\xc2\xb7 Request quotations from suppliers, compare and evaluate prices and quotes from different suppliers and compile price comparison work sheet.\xc2\xb7 Create and issue purchase orders and follow up with suppliers for orders confirmation, including order amendments, etc.\xc2\xb7 Perform suppliers sourcing, evaluation, assessment and selection, negotiation, performance monitoring, vendor relationship management and continuous improvement for the Company.\xc2\xb7 Perform regular performance review with suppliers to drive continuous improvements and manage suppliers to meet objectives related to lead time, cost, delivery performance, quality, and reliability.\xc2\xb7 Coordinate, liaise, follow up and ensure vendors meet operation schedule and lead time and to ensure on-time deliveries.\xc2\xb7 Work closely with all departments on inventory requirements, cost control and recommend purchasing process improvements.\xc2\xb7 Process purchase orders, delivery orders, invoices and import shipments and documentation and ensure no Purchase Order (PO) is missed out.\xc2\xb7 Maintain and update purchasing records.\xc2\xb7 Deal with vendors on any quality issues, product replacement, pricing etc.\xc2\xb7 Prepare and participate in purchasing reports preparation and data analysis.\xc2\xb7 Ensure all documentation related to purchasing activities is completed on time and accurately.\xc2\xb7 Implement and establish good procurement standards, practices, and policies & procedures.\xc2\xb7 Support in cost savings exercise and take initiative to make comparison and negotiate or source for better material / quality with the lowest cost.\xc2\xb7 Conduct supplier audit and supplier performance review to achieve continuous improvement for the company.\xc2\xb7 Responsible for coordination and management of import activities such as development and implementation of import policies, procedures, management of import documentations and shipments.\xc2\xb7 Arranging transport via outsource organization when necessary.\xc2\xb7 Liase with freight forwarders to ensure timely and accurate import processes and paperwork.Requirement\xc2\xb7 Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / bachelor\'s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or any relevant field.\xc2\xb7 Fluent in English and Malay.\xc2\xb7 At least 3 years\' experience in a related field is required for this position.\xc2\xb7 Preferably specialized in Metal Fabrication and experience working in manufacturing industry.\xc2\xb7 Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.\xc2\xb7 A team-player who is resourceful and able to work with minimum guidance.Sub Specialization : Supply Chain & Logistics;Purchasing / Buyer
