Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor (Senior QS Executive)

Pay:

RM 4,500 - RM 6,500

Working location:

Taman Gaya, 81800 Johor Bahru, Johor (Exact address will be conveyed once shortlisted)

Working hours:

Monday to Friday 8.30 am - 5.30pm

Company context:

Specialised in the construction industry, predominantly handling projects of residential and commercial including terrace houses, shoplots, sales gallery and so on.

Requirements:

At least 5 years of being in role as a Quantity Surveyor and has proven record of projects in residential and commercial field. - Candidates who have been working with a main con firm will be very much preferred.

Being able to communicate in Chinese is a major advantage as the role may require liaising with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.

Proficient and understanding of AutoCAD software or other CAD software like Glodon or Microsoft Project.

Hold a Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying or higher -

a must.

Job responsibilities:

Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects Negotiating and managing contracts with subcontractors and suppliers Monitoring and controlling project costs to ensure that they remain within budget Preparing payment certificates and processing invoices Providing advice and support to project managers and other stakeholders on financial matters Identifying and managing risks associated with construction projects Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
