Tenbex Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (TESB) is an engineering company established in 2004 with offices and workshops across West and East Malaysia. TESB is licensed by PETRONAS as a service contractor/vendor for oil companies operating in Malaysia. With a team of experienced personnel from various oil and gas companies, TESB specializes in rotating equipment maintenance and aims to be the preferred business partner for O&G specialized maintenance and special product/material supply.

A Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer in the Oil & Gas (O&G) industry is responsible for overseeing the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of critical rotating machinery such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and motors. The role involves providing advanced technical expertise, leading troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex failures, and ensuring equipment reliability, efficiency, and compliance with applicable standards and safety requirements. In addition, the engineer provides technical guidance to junior engineers, supports maintenance strategies, and collaborates with operations and vendors to optimize asset performance and minimize downtime.

Here's an outline of the core responsibilities of a Senior Rotating Engineer in O&G:

Liaise with clients on technical matters Ensure operations comply with SOPs Provide repair solutions and troubleshooting Train and guide engineering teams Recommend suitable workshops/vendors

Requirements:

Strong experience in Rotating Equipment (Progressive Cavity Pumps, Screw Pumps, Gear Pumps, Diaphragm Pumps, Centrifugal Pumps, Compressors, Steam Turbines, Blowers, Mixers, Feeders, Gearboxes, Dryers, Cooling Water Systems, etc.) Hands-on exposure to a wide range of equipment (over 4,000 units across categories)

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
