Role Summary:

  • Responsible for achieving sales volume and product mix targets. This involves Key Account management skills managing multiple accounts and stake holders (Doctor, Nurses and other stakeholders). The person will be responsible for accounts within an established geographical territory area. Will be responsible to conduct Renal PD clinical activities targeting at key healthcare providers, clinics and hospitals within a specified geography to improve clinical outcomes of PD patients.
  • This position requires strong therapy understanding of PD, communication and coordination with stakeholders including patients, caregivers, physicians, nurses, hospital\xe2\x80\x99s renal unit personnel, external foundations and support partners.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Achieve sales quotas through the direct sale of the company\xe2\x80\x99s products or services.
  • Identify and call on existing and prospective customers to understand and meet customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs through targeted selling.
  • Actively participates in all aspects of PD patient care like assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating of nursing care as directed of the HCPs and communicate effectively with internal and external team members regarding the patient\xe2\x80\x99s treatment and care plan.
  • Conducts dialysis counseling and training of healthcare personnel, patients and their caregivers to ensure good practices in Peritoneal Dialysis. Performing home visits for both CAPD/APD as directed by HCP\xe2\x80\x99s.
  • Track and maintain centers\xe2\x80\x99 database \xe2\x80\x93 drop out tracking, management and time on therapy. Actively involved in analyzing and conducting activities to improve time on therapy for key accounts.
  • Apply therapy and/or product knowledge to differentiates Baxter products Vs competitors and address questions on products or therapies and/or provide technical and administrative product demonstrations.
  • Monitor and deliver monthly sales against forecast/plan and participate in the determination of market potential for the territory.
  • Keep up-to-date and apply industry knowledge/trends, competitor activity to understand and meet maintain competitive positioning.
  • Ensure monthly reports are submitted on timely basis i.e. SFE
  • Uncompromising commitment to adhering to Baxter\xe2\x80\x99s Code of Conduct and promotes the Baxter Culture through positive, ongoing relationships and activities.
  • Report Baxter drug adverse events (AEs) and any other relevant product safety related information to pharmacovigilance (PV) upon awareness, and support with the follow up activities with the reporter (HCP and/or patient), if needed, upon PV guidance and request.
Education & Experience:
  • Diploma or Degree in Nursing, Science, Pharmacy or equivalent preferable.
  • Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience in medical device/therapeutic/equipment sales or pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience/managing clinical support preferably to a nephrology unit.
  • Able to manage territory/region independently.
  • Possess a valid driving license and own car.
  • Accepts personal responsibility; self-motivated, demonstrates ownership for achieving results; consistently meets or exceeds goals; operates in accordance with Baxter\xe2\x80\x99s global business practice standards; understands and promotes compliance with Baxter policy and legal obligations.
  • Willing to travel: Travelling is required and may involve visits to remote urban areas either individually or with other personnel to complete course of work as well as to attend meetings, conferences, training.
