Job description
In your new role you will:

• Lead the server landscape and platform maintenance including automation of processes.
• Work together with global team in integration development by building scripts and automation tools to various enterprise level servers or solutions.
• Conducting solutions analysis, testing, and debugging to ensure the solutions meets the requirements and delivers a high-quality user experience.
• Documenting the software development process, including requirements, specifications, and progress reports.
• Providing technical support to internal teams and users when needed and collaborating with cross-functional global teams to identify and prioritize the requirements of the solutions.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in software development to bring innovative and effective solutions to the table.

Your profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / System Administration.
• A closely related field with required 3-5 years of experience in software development and servers administration.
• Experienced in object-oriented programming like Java, REST API development, XML-based content management (e.g. XML, XSLT, DTD, Xpath),and Web-based programming including Spring MVC Framework, Servlet, JavaScript, JSON, HTML.
• Experienced in Agile DevOps is an added advantage.
• Experienced in server administration and data analytics tools, e.g. Windows Server, e.g.: Apache Tomcat, JBoss, IIS. Knowledge in Openshift Kubernetes (hybrid cloud platform), ELK.
• Experienced in scripting, automation tools and CI/CD for continuous integration and deployment. This includes software testing methodologies and debugging techniques with a proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plans.
• Experienced in source control, e.g. Git, Bitbucket, SVN, Jenkins and databases such as Oracle SQL, and Microsoft SQL and familiar with PLSQL.
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, communication skills, and teamwork.
• Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols.
• Professional level of written and spoken English
