Summary: The Senior Specialist, IT Business Analyst has the responsibility to analyze and document requirements from the business/customer to support the assessment of value for project creation including working within IT to identify potential solutions. Will act as a project manager for small to medium sized projects including coordinating tasks with several IT teams. They will work closely with the project team to ensure delivery of projects meet the approved scope, cost, schedule and quality for the project. They will manage the project risk and mitigation activities to provide alternative options to resolve the issues. Detailed Description: Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following: Facilitates workshops with the appropriate subject matter experts within the business to document the current as-is business process and map out the desired to-be processes, capturing details around business groups responsible for process steps within their swimlane, any key personnel indicators related to the process, and expected outcomes/benefits of the new process. Work with the appropriate IT Enterprise Architecture team to help identify the appropriate platform or technology to support the new to-be process Work with the Business Excellence (Organizational Change Management) team to identify the training and communication needs to support the process change. Qualify and help prioritize requirements and demands for small to medium initiatives Works with Enterprise architects / Center Of Excellence Leads/IT Business Partners to document/communication project needs/requirements Manage all aspects of small to intermediate projects through the project lifecycle, including project scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs and change Prepare realistic project plans, estimates and budgets, and track activities against these plans Manage task assignment to project resources and reporting on and managing project scope throughout the lifecycle Provide regular and accurate reports to stakeholders as appropriate Assists in documenting customer roadmap/strategy and IT strategy (quarterly) Knowledge/Skills/Competencies: Technical thinking skills. Physical Demands: Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
