Senior Specialist, Merchant Technical SupportThis position is for a leading SEA payment service provider that offers omni-channel payment solutions, allowing merchants to accept local and international payments through credit and debit cards, bank channels (ATMs, iBanking and mBanking) and cash acceptance via payment counters.Reporting to the Director, Malaysia, this role will offer an opportunity for you to broaden your knowledge and skills related to e-Commerce payment solutions as you will be tasked to lead payment gateway integrations, to provide technical support to clients by understanding their payment processing requirements and designing appropriate solutions and to maneuver internally to obtain the development resources necessary to meet merchant needs. This role will work closely with internal and external stakeholders locally and regionally which includes business partners, third party vendors and development teams to design and deliver IT solutions that enable the e-Commerce business unit to achieve results.:

  • To support business development efforts during pre-sales, implementation, and post-sales support by:
  • providing technical expertise to BD team and during client engagements.
  • designing and presenting ecommerce solutions for clients and partners.
  • conducting internal and external training.
  • To act as a bridge between local business development team and merchant on the one hand, and internal developers on the other.
  • Able to decipher/decoded merchant logs and troubleshoot.
  • To review and coordinate the enhancement of partner solutions, also ensuring that relevant technical documentation and materials are up-to-date.
  • To work with other teams within the company for multi-country solutions.
  • Assist with merchant integration and support integration related queries, deciphering/decoding merchant logs and troubleshoot.
  • Monitor daily batch jobs and operational functions within the systems.
  • Manage merchant helpdesk or merchant/customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution.
  • System monitoring and SLA follow ups.
  • Assist with ad-hoc special projects integration and monitor stability (can be 24/7 for a period), specially for L1 cases.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years working experience in the Payment Industry.
  • Extensive pre-sales / post -sales or consulting experience.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Dedication and commitment to problem resolution.
  • Solid understanding of front-to-back payment processes.
  • Excellent client-facing, communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in multi-cultural organization is an advantage.
  • Project management experience required.
Computer Skills:
  • MS Visual Studio 2013
  • Knowledge of SQL Statement
  • Java, HTML, Desktop OS
  • Window Server
  • API-based programming skills is an advantage.
