To market designated products in the given industries/accounts with the objective to hit yearly sales targets using existing resources and working within the department budget.
Develop new business in Machine/Equipment Sales in the industrial segment and increase customer base.
Ensure that communications with customers and with the company are rapid and comprehensive. Maintain good customer rapport.
Ensure thorough market coverage for relevant target industries.
Ensure constant discussions and updates with immediate superior to achieve yearly sales targets.
Timely submission of customer visit reports, by the first day of the following week.
Timely submission of prospect list on a monthly basis.
Maintain a high level of technical and sales competence by keeping abreast with the latest techniques and development of the products.
Familiarize oneself with the machinery/system under his/her care so that demonstration of the system can be conducted professionally.
Ensuring that Company\'s reputation for high-quality products and services are maintained.
Use own initiative to acquire comprehensive product knowledge.
Organize and coordinate promotional activities with the help of the marketing team.
Job Requirements:
Professional certificates, Diploma, or Degree in Engineering
Minimum 3 years of related working experience
Build and maintain strong relationships with key external suppliers
Strong knowledge of industrial locations, hot spots and on-going mega-projects.
Strong product knowledge in metal cutting, metal fabrication, CNC milling, machining, wire processing and 3D printing
Good engineering background and knowledge of automotive, tool & die, plastics, aerospace, sheet metal, wire processing, medical, Oil & Gas, Engineering & contract manufacturer
Experience with Sales/ Engineering Background is a MUST
