We are looking for an experienced Technical Consultant to join our delivery team, working across our Fraud Prevention, Originations and Customer Management solutions. In this role you will play a key role in the design, development and deployment of PowerCurve solutions for our Decision Analytics business. Throughout the delivery lifecycle, you will own the technical solution design and implementation in our clients\xe2\x80\x99 existing ecosystems, and execute consultancy activities that lead the client to determine how their business requirements will be functionally supported by Experian software, whether in an on-premise, cloud, or SaaS model.

Work that matters - What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing

• Assist in business workshops and requirements definition with Product Consultants through to sign off
• Lead and facilitate technical Workshops and requirements definition through to sign off
• Design of solution architecture and integration specifications in line with industry standards and PowerCurve best-practice
• Development of interfaces and bespoke modules
• Provide technical advice and support
• Configure and install the Experian PowerCurve platform into our client and hosted environment
• Creation of User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
• Assist Project Managers on assessing, planning and organising project workload to meet project commitments within agreed timelines.
• Accountable for the quality of the project deliverables
• Train, mentor or shadow members of the delivery time as required
• Assist pre-sales with client facing technical presentations and workshops

Qualifications

More about you

• Desirable Technical Knowledge

• Knowledge of two programming/scripting languages and recent experience with at least one, among Java, groovy, JavaScript, SQL
• Operating systems: Windows, Linux (RHEL, CentOS), virtualisation
• Database: Oracle, SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL
• Application Servers: Apache Tomcat
• Networking: Firewalls, WAF, TLS, ALB\xe2\x80\x99s NLB\xe2\x80\x99s
• Cloud: AWS / Azure / GCP
• Java / Groovy Design Patterns
• Java performance tuning concepts
• Web Services (SOAP and REST), REST/JSON and JWT
• Web technologies \xe2\x80\x93 HTML, CSS, JS, AJAX
• TLS, Certificates and understanding of PKIX
• Identity federation and SSO - LDAP, SAML, Okta
• Experience with at least one source control system - Bitbucket, SVN, Git
• Concepts of continuous integration, automated testing and other automation framework (Ansible, Jenkins)
• Presentation (slides, process flows)
