Why does this job exist and why is it critical?\xe2\x80\x8bTo provide advice and recommendations on a broad range of commercial and contractual issues of relevance to Maxis\xe2\x80\x99 vendor and partner contracts. Coordinate and Drive the interfaces between cross-functional teams in resolving escalated contractual issues, claims & claims defense, etc. and ensure escalations of disputes, legal and contractual matters are owned and followed through to a successful conclusionTo undertake post-contract responsibilities including socialization of entitlements and obligations to the stakeholders, issues and risk management and reporting; contract communication management; contractual deliverable and commercial management; contract administration; Maxis / Vendor governance reporting and escalation and internal dispute management and resolution * Provide contract strategy and support in key tender exercises by adapting/enhancing contract templates and related contractual documents to ensure that Maxis captures all its technical and services requirements clearly, evaluate vendor\xe2\x80\x99s contract compliance, lead in negotiations of contract terms and conditions and formalization of agreed contract terms and conditions; Working with stakeholders in contract formation and in effecting contract changes and renewals in order to ensure that Maxis captures all its entitlements in the contracts and that the contract is in the best interest of the company
Provide contract strategy and support for key partnership contracts to meet Maxis\xe2\x80\x99 objectives (e.g. cost, innovation, revenue objectives) including adapting existing contract documentation and leading in negotiations of terms and conditions and ensure all agreed contract terms and conditions are align across the documentation
Support Procurement Category Planning and Implementation; discuss & capture clear specifications, scope, operating, contractual and commercial model in order to achieve Maxis\xe2\x80\x99 technical and financial targets.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\'s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master\'s Degree, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
Required skill(s): In-life management of large contracts related to telco network and IT equipment, services and/or solutions as well as partnership contracts. Highly required on post contract and vendor/partner management. Those with extensive experience in contract management and/or account management in vendor environment are encouraged to apply
At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position preferably procurement and/or contract management.
Must be passionate about understanding stakeholder requirements and ensuring their expectations on vendors and deliveries are captured and included in the contracts to project Maxis\xe2\x80\x99s interest
Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships within Maxis and with vendors and be able help influence the best outcomes for Maxis
Change agent to ensuring that stakeholders understand the contracts and utilizing all the entitlements that have been negotiated in
Ability to maintain impartial and provide objective assessment and recommendation for contractual issues or disputes
