Key responsibilities:

• Using both OEM and third-party solutions that include virtual storage tools and services, build and maintain an on-premise cloud, software defined data centre infrastructure for both bare-metal and virtual machines with the proper SAN, network, or local storage configurations.
• NSX-V/NSX-T, vRealize Operations Manager, vRealize LogInsight, VMware vSphere, vRealize Automation (vRA), vRealize Orchestration (vRO), vRealize LogInsight, and Horizon View operations support
• Create and manage customised scripts to improve system performance and reduce the amount of time that requires human interaction for any job, such as automatically provisioning storage with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
• Make sure technical documentation is available for all systems and is kept up to date. This documentation should include an inventory of all systems and their patch levels, as well as information about their hostnames, property numbers, IP addresses, enclaves, core and processor counts, admin passwords, certificates, and service accounts.

To qualify an individual must possess:

• Requires CompTIA Security+CE certification
• Knowledge of storage architectures, including multi-processor designs and peripheral interfaces (SCSI, RAID, Ethernet) (SMP)
• Linux or MS OS experience is a plus.

5 years of experience setting up VMware ESX/vCenter 6.5/6.7/7.0.
