Summary of Principal Job Responsibility & Specific Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Accountable for the overall warehouse and logistics operations including receiving, warehousing / inventory control, picking & packing, quantity & quality control, and shipment / delivery operations.
Manages daily site logistics operations, processes, workflows, and escalation management through proactive interaction with key stakeholders including the planning team, data team, operations team, and other logistics partners.
Maintains inventory accuracy with appropriate warehouse transactions and manages inventory levels to always ensure adequate supply of products by consistently conducting physical counts and cycle counts.
Responsible for ensuring a safe warehouse work environment by monitoring associate performance, equipment, tools, and employee / warehouse work areas. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, regulations and standards, and best practices to help logistics ensure a safe work environment.
Maintains a high standard of warehouse housekeeping, health & safety, and supporting a lean work environment.
To identify & implement corrective action plans for non-compliance areas including addressing the issue and incidents in warehouse operations.
Accountable for all the warehouse MHE and laisse with vendors for the maintenance & repairing works.
To manage both internal & external communication and coordinate activities closely with the operations team.
To provide training & guidance to warehouse staff to ensure compliance.
To conduct audits, and examine records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
To become proficient in using the WMS system by conducting WMS in parallel with physical operations.
To report compliance metrics to management, including processes made on corrective action plans and areas for improvement.
Academic Qualification(s):
Candidates are required to possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Business Administration / Supply Chian / Finance / Commercial / Warehousing / Logistics Management.
Work Experience / Skills Requirement(s):
Minimum 3 years of experience in Warehousing / Logistics at the managerial level.
Experience in leading warehouse and logistics operations involving inbound / outbound, warehouse layout, picking & packing, inventory counting and variance resolution, health & safety, etc.
Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
Knowledge of WMS, SAP, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
