Join our Equity Research team in Kuala Lumpur and help further develop our client base within an exciting and growing market. Working in an entrepreneurial and collaborative culture, you will be supporting and working closely with a team of analysts covering Construction and Real Estate as a primary focus, while exploring the exciting small-mid cap space. You will focus on updating and maintaining financial models/ industry databases, managing market analysis and client presentations and briefings. You will also be writing, previewing and reviewing quarterly results, sector updates and thematic reports and have the opportunity to generate new ideas, participate in coverage initiation on new companies, and engage with senior stakeholders of the companies covered. What you offer

• Minimum 2-4 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in equity research, investment research, corporate finance and/or from a strong background in other accounting or analytical roles within financial industry
• Relevant sector knowledge in construction, real estate and/or small-mid cap would be advantageous but not a prerequisite
• Solid accounting and modelling skills. Knowledge of quantitative aptitude and financial concepts like ratio analysis, valuation techniques and financial modelling would be advantageous
• Exceptional communication skills in English as well as the ability to building good relationships with large corporate clients and internal teams
• Logical and analytical lateral thinker with passion in equity research and strong drive to succeed.
