A cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions efficiently, accurately, and with a friendly attitude. They process payments, issue receipts, and assist customers with inquiries while maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. Cashiers are often the final point of contact for customers, so providing excellent service and leaving a positive impression is key.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases.
Accurately handle cash, credit card, e-wallet, and other payment methods.
Issue receipts, refunds, or change as needed.
Maintain a tidy and organized cashier counter.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve basic complaints or direct them to the supervisor.
Follow company policies on cash handling and security.
Assist with packing items or coordinating takeaway orders (if in F&B/retail).
Balance cash register at the start and end of shifts.
Skills & Qualities:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Basic math and computer skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional during busy periods.
Honesty, reliability, and a positive attitude.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
