Service Sales Specialist

Join us as Service Sales Specialist for the Process Automation Business Area where you will be responsible for sales of products/systems/services within a designated market in accordance with Strategy. Building long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues. Identify and develop sales opportunities. Reporting to the Sales Manager in Business Area and this position located in Subang Jaya, Malaysia.

Your responsibilities

• Selling entire service product portfolio to expand ABB footprint in the designated area(s). Charts out and monitors sales proposals, tenders and follows up proposal statistics
• Communicating contract details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
• Penetrating ABB Automation Installed base, promotes various upgrade, retrofit and value add solutions to the benefit of the customer and ABB
• Understanding the channel strategy and the establishment of related prices and prepares sales plans, reviews them, and proposes recovery plan(s) when needed
• Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promoting customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering, and aligning to provide a solution
• Preparing sales plans using company tools. Performing regular status reviews and proposing recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls
• Creating added value for the customer and ABB and ensuring the successful outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals by using effective sales techniques
• Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supporting collection and project management activities when needed

Your background

• Must have a degree majored in Electrical and or Automation Engineering or any equivalent qualification.
• Must have 5 years of working experience as Service sales specialist in in Automation industry (Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Chemical & Refinery and Petrochemical.)
• Prior and proven experience working with Malaysia Oil and Gas, Chemical and Refinery customers and consultants as customers and existing personal networks with the same would be an advantage
• Sound knowledge and skill sets for both Automation and Electrification and ABB Automation portfolio will be considered a priority
• Excellent communication & presentation skills, both verbal and written
• Willingness to travel about 70%
