As a Service Sales Specialist, you will be driving service sales process in collaboration with the Service Sales Manager and/or Service Manager. Generating service sales opportunities and securing profitable sales within the designated area(s). Focusing on installed base penetration (IB) and selling the entire service product portfolio in collaboration with other ABB Service Units, based in Subang Jaya. Reporting to Marketing and Sales Manager and building long term customer relationships, ensuring immediate response to specific customer needs and issues. Your responsibilities Utilizing ServIS to understand the existing installed base (IB) and identifying, developing sales opportunities for service products and solutions to penetrate the existing IB/new IBs in the market. Focusing on the entire service portfolio to secure profit for assigned Business Units/Product Groups Generating service sales leads and developing new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information, identifying, and exploring potential new service portfolios. Taking a One ABB approach to leverage other colleagues\' portfolios Understanding the channel strategy and the establishment of related prices and preparing sales plans, reviewing them, and proposing recovery plan(s) when needed. Regularly updates installed base in ServIS (the approved Service database) with the changes made at site Establishing long term customer relationships by understanding customer requirements and applicable regulations and demonstrating in-depth technical service product/solutions knowledge to promote Life Cycle Management (LCM). Registering customer feedback and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process Selling entire service product portfolio to expand ABB footprint in the designated area(s). Charts out and monitors sales proposals, tenders and follows up proposal statistics. Preparing ABB\'s Service offerings based on customer need and in coordination with the local Service Sales Manager and/or Service Manager Communicating contract details in accordance with ABB offering, strategy and managing administrative sales processes Your background Degree in Engineering with equivalent experience Front end sales with technical sales experience desirable Experience in promoting and growing on Low Voltage & Medium Voltage product/Service Sales Portfolio Focused and self-motivated marketer, with creative and analytical skills Highly effective individual who has an absolute eye for detail and focus in improving business performance through campaign/workshop execution, reporting and evaluation A collaborative, solution focused approach with strong written and spoken communication skills Benefits Life insurance Accident insurance Paid Parental leave (gender neutral) Sick pay More about us Electrifying the world in a safe, smart and sustainable way, ABB Electrification is a global technology leader in electrical distribution and management from source to socket.
