Join us as Service Sales Specialist for the Robotics and Discrete Automation Business Area where you will be responsible for sales of products/systems/services within a designated market in accordance with strategy. Building long term customer relationships and managing resolution to specific customer needs and issues. Identifying and developing sales opportunities. Reporting to Service Sales Manager in supporting, developing the sales organization to exceed sales target through high performance and high levels of customer satisfaction. This position will be based in Subang Jaya, Malaysia. Your responsibilities Creating, planning, and implementing sales strategy, strategic sales and business development initiatives, in alignment with global sales strategy. Achieving sales targets in respect of both budgets and sales efficiency Establishing sales targets and ensuring sales achievement through regular overseeing, definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed Selling products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned Business Units/Product Groups Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/systems/services offering, and aligning to provide a solution. Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process Preparing sales plans using company tools. Performing regular status reviews and proposes, recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls Creating added value for the customer, ABB and ensuring the successful outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals by using effective sales techniques. Communicating details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions) Ensuring efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers. Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensuring know-how sharing and cross-collaboration Managing administrative procedures in sales processes, and supporting collection, project management activities when needed Preparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager and ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions Your background Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Automation or Robotics Business.
