Job Description


Our client has recently implemented the ServiceNow platform and extended its existing Service Management capabilities by leveraging the platform\'s ITSM and ITOM modules across the Asia Pacific organisation.

To ensure this platform is appropriately maintained, supported and exploited, our client is looking for a technology leader to manage the ServiceNow platform and associated integrations.

  • Lead the Platform & Reporting team responsible for delivery of health, maintenance, improvements and operational support services across the Service Management environment including ServiceNow and all integrations.
  • Govern and manage the Service Management technology roadmap strategy and execution.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to align and champion the deployment of technical change, continuous improvement and user adoption across the platform.
  • Manage the security, risks, finances, vendors, upgrades and lifecycle of the platform
  • Lead regular engagement with key stakeholder groups including leadership teams, steering committees, and executives, to ensure visibility of risks, issues and achievements

  • Optimise value and productivity from the ServiceNow platform, ensuring that the business perspective is always front of mind
  • Oversee the development and implementation of a Reporting framework
  • Mentor and provide leadership development to team members and promote continuous learning and improvement (including partner resources)
  • Deliver prototypes and innovative enhancements to demonstrate how further business value can be derived from the platform

  • Experience leading a ServiceNow Platform team for medium sized organisations
  • Leadership experience, including the management of teams in challenging environments, and the ability to foster a high performing culture.
  • Ability to develop effective relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders including being able to resolve conflict, manage sensitivities
  • Proven experience managing estimation, prioritisation, roadmap and continuous delivery of projects and initiatives
  • Customer centric with a strong capability to understand market and strategic drivers, set clear goals and define problem statements
  • Experience setting strategic direction and priorities for a team across geographical boundaries
  • Ability to plan and manage the implementation of processes, tools and methods to monitor and manage system and service performance in respect to their contribution to performance and benefits to the business.
  • Ability to monitor and manage technology services expenditure, including; software licences, maintenance, personnel and other recurring expenditure.
  • Sound knowledge of a variety of project management, agile and DevOps practices, tools, software, and processes.
  • Awareness of ITIL and associated industry trends
