Exciting Challenges

  • Set-up, configuration and day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform including conducting changes to the platform
  • General support, administration and maintenance of ServiceNow platform and associated applications
  • Responsible for error identification and remediation and ensuring that system and database management conforms to policy and standards
  • Provides support to end user, support teams and suppliers (including adding users) that are involved in IT Service Management
  • Manages lifecycle of change of Software versions of ServiceNow, plans and implements upgrades and conversions
  • Manages instance security including password standards, user/group access, access control rules and auditing\xe2\x80\x8b
  • Monitors and maintains the agreed levels of availability, security, performance and operational capability of ServiceNow
  • Proactive identification and execution of platform enhancements to maximise value
  • Assist in building and maintaining internal technical documentation, manuals, policies, and processes
  • Responsible for application support and operational activities, code migrations, replications, patching, and upgrades
  • Responsible for system\'s reliability and platform health
  • Administer the ServiceNow Platform
  • Collaborate with project team members in customization and configuration of ServiceNow instance
  • Identify opportunities to automate and enhance end user experience
  • Create and update documents as needed
  • Implement best practices in coding and design as per Synergy and ServiceNow standards
  • Perform user management including maintaining user and group roles and profile, security settings, access settings, etc.
  • Perform release upgrades with minimal or no disruption to IT operations
  • Perform daily administration, troubleshooting, and resolution of any issues arising in the ServiceNow environment
  • Perform System and integration testing with sample/live data with Support Services team
  • Work with QA team to validate solution and ensure quality product is delivered
  • Migration of update sets to different environments (DEV, TEST and PROD)
  • Provide technical expertise for issues related to development
  • Working closely with IT and business partners to configure and improve core platform capabilities in accordance with ITIL best practices
  • Provides configuration assistance to developers
  • Designs, develops, configures, and customizes (when necessary) ServiceNow applications and services
  • Delivers new functionality across applications
  • Supports the entire development lifecycle
  • Activate plugins, administer an upgrade, create support tickets with ServiceNow, and more

We Need Your Skills
  • ServiceNow System Admin certification (admin or higher)
  • 3-5 years\' experience with ServiceNow administration
  • Demonstrated ability with ServiceNow incident, change, problem, request, CMDB and knowledge management applications
  • Experience in IT service management, ITIL certification preferred
  • Ability to analyse, troubleshoot and resolve complex software application related problems
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Applies standard methodology, techniques, procedures, and criteria
  • Ability to analyse raw results, determine/resolve bottlenecks, and create meaningful documentation of testing scenarios and results
  • Up-to-date knowledge of marketplace and technology changes pertinent to ServiceNow, monitoring tools, and ITIL processes
  • Experience troubleshooting integration management, security, and application issues
  • Experience with JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, JSON and web service integrations using REST, SOAP, etc
  • Experience in ServiceNow administration and development
  • Experience in integration of ServiceNow with other IT applications
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of ServiceNow architecture and key modules (e.g., ITSM modules, ITOM, Service Catalog, CMDB)
  • Knowledge about workflows, reporting, and dashboards
  • Experience in developing custom applications
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experienced in working Agile environment and handle multiple priorities
