Our client, an innovative deep-tech robotics software company, is seeking a

Strategy Analyst

to work directly with the CEO. This is a high-impact role for someone with sharp analytical thinking, excellent business and technical communication skills, and the ability to understand engineering-heavy products. You will play a key role in shaping product direction, identifying new opportunities, and supporting strategic growth across complex industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product & Market Discovery

Research workflows across manufacturing, MRO, and industrial automation. Analyze engineering pain points in manual processes (e.g., sanding, welding, blasting, spraying). Participate in customer discovery interviews and develop user personas. Prepare structured briefs for product and engineering teams.

2. Strategic & Competitive Research

Monitor trends in industrial robotics, automation, and vision systems. Benchmark competitors on product features, pricing, and GTM strategies. Prepare internal strategy memos and insights for investors. Maintain a repository of market, competitor, and product intelligence.

3. Business Development Support

Research and segment high-value target accounts. Support TAM/SAM analysis and lead enrichment activities. Prepare BD assets including vertical briefs, outreach content, and case study outlines. Track and prioritize strategic leads for partnerships and sales.

4. Strategic Ops & CEO Support

Attend high-level meetings (investors, partners, customers) and produce concise summaries. Assist in preparing board materials, strategy documentation, and internal communication. Lead special projects across product, GTM, and partnership strategies.

Requirements

Strong analytical and structured thinking; able to turn ambiguity into clarity and action. Excellent written and verbal communication in English. Technically inclined; comfortable with robotics concepts, manufacturing workflows, and process mapping. Strong research capability with the ability to deep dive, synthesize insights, and compare data across domains. Self-driven, reliable, and able to manage work independently.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
