Job Description


Main Responsibilities: Plan, organize and coordinate all shipping activities such as shipping documentation and shipment schedule. Ensure that all aspects of import/export freight are managed efficiently and effectively to ensure customers\' requirements are met all the times. Follow up closely on shipping tasks, controls of freight cost, and ensure all documents are updated on-time. Coordinate and work together with various departments to ensure shipping documentation and import/export arrangement are in good manner. To oversee day-to-day shipping operations including of import, export, custom clearance and maintain of all documents pertaining to receipt and issuance of stock and delivery. Responsible to ensure all standard operating procedures (SOPs) are updated and regularly reviewed to comply with the guidelines. Work closely with departmental users and government to ensure all regulatory compliance are met. To obtain freight cost from forwarder Responsible to obtain and follow up on shipment schedules and shipments clearance to ensure timely delivery of goods Prepare all relevant documents for export of goods Manage MITI\'s trade agreement for (Form D,E,etc) for relevant countries Apply and obtain approval for Chamber of Commerce/Health Certificate/Certificate of Origin On-time update of import and export freight charges as well as customs declaration data. Ensure all LMW exemptions application are made in compliance to customs regulatory. Responsible to ensure LMW monthly and yearly report and submitted on time before the stipulated dateline from customs office. Any other jobs that will be assigned by the supervisor or the Management from time to time and as and when necessary. Requirements: Minimum Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain or any other related field. At least 2 years of Logistic/shipping management or relevant working experience. Knowledge of Forwarding process and Shipping system and operations. Relevant working experience in handling LMW reports and interaction with Customs department. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and documentation procedures. Good interpersonal, communication skills and reporting skills. Commercial and financial awareness with a full understanding of how failures impacts the costs, suppliers and customer order Strong analytical, planning and problem solving skills. Hardworking, multi-tasking, resourceful and proactive with sense of urgency.
