The Position Shipping Executive
Job Summary
Lead the country shipping team processing customers\xe2\x80\x99 orders deliveries. Optimises fleet management, close control and monitoring to ensure achieving both local and regional businesses\xe2\x80\x99 goals while ensuring the delivery of Imerys client on time and in full, complying to all best practices and meeting companies\xe2\x80\x99 set KPIs.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
01. Monitor and process all relevant permits, timely applications and renews following the forecast and orders received
Preparation of relevant document required for state annual product movement application in accordance with the sales forecast-budget data, as required by PR manager
Submission for export permit application in NRE portal for GCC Powder, GCC Slurry and Kaolin Slurry covering all export modes by Sea, by Land and by Air
Permits balances monitoring and updates into tracking file in Google drive
Produces monthly closing reports and expenses accrual for export royalties payment (for all export transactions, including chips) and submit timely after month end closing to finance
02. Validate and maintain masterplan for customer order planning and execution
Update expected date for shipment departure & arrival in ERP matching customer request date as much as possible. Revised promise date if unable to match customer required date and notify all concerns on new date.
Container booking according to shipping instructions received from CS after validation with planner, ensure executions accurately and promptly up to customs clearance (including BL validation)
Fleet management (under perimeter) for GCC powder tanker, slurry tanker, chips bulk and traded products by trucks or prime mover
Completion of procurement process for all fleet managed, compliance to company purchasing policy and process eg logistic matching.
Handling all dealers and agents delivery documents.
03. Reporting and Data Upkeep in ERP and Google Sheets
KPIs monitoring report eg OTIF / Backlog / Payload compliance, on time circulation to all concerned stakeholders.
Ensure filing and data archive according to financial requirements including compliance to 5s standard
Monitor and record all abnormal expenses under perimeters.
04. Continuous Improvement and Actions using the available Tools
Timely report on non compliances using the ICAR (internal) and SCAR (external service provider) document
Attend and contribute actively in all the MCRS sessions invited. Monitor, report and record concern, potential risk or issue using the MCRS log sheets and work together with all concerned stakeholders on gap closure and improvement.
Contribute to support as required for the investigation of customer complaints from CRM and internal improvement RCA process.
Contribute to enhance the company process flow following the technical & technology evolution.
05. EHS
Lead self and others to promote Imerys safety culture and protocols
Completion of safety target and KPIs timely
06. Others
Backup subordinates as required
Special tasks and duty assigned by superior from time to time ie projects
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Minimum Diploma in Engineering/Business/Logistics/ Other Discipline
Experience :
At least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Service related field
Industrial experience preferred with knowledge in ERP System, freight and contract execution
Dynamic, hard worker, open minded.
Leadership in managing co-workers
Good interpersonal skills and able to build good relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
Excellent integrity and ethical standards.
Customer oriented profile
Computer skills required (Google Suites, ERP, etc)
Languages :
To perform standard oral and written communication skills in English and Malay, Conversing in other language is an added advantage
