• Bachelor Degree in Logistics Management / Business / Operation Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 5-6 years management experience in shipping/logistic/warehouse.
• Excellent customer service management.
• Data/Cost analysis to facilitate budget forecasting (e.g Haulage charges, forwarding agent fees).
• Shipping and transportation operations and management.
• Knowledgeable in warehouse/shipping operations and management.
• Capable in manufacturing processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Familiar with Customs regulations & process.

• To lead, manage and supervise all work progression and subordinate in the Shipping Department.
• Oversee the preparation import and export documents including packing list, invoices, country of origin, letter of credit, insurance, etc.
• Liaise with customers/ vendors on delivery schedule and shipment arrangement.
• To manage and guide the liaison personnel with the forwarder on documentation, container booking, cargo shipment and transportation, cargo clearing, permit, and delivery for both import and export.
• Liaise with warehouse team on loading, and unloading.
• Check and verify documents to ensure legal compliance.
• To verify and seek freight min 2-3 quotations and make recommendations on competitive forwarder or agent, carrier, and insurer for shipment.
• Ensuring the waste disposal and exemption material reports are by MIDA custom on time. In addition, to monitor that the HS code has sufficient quantity exempted from duty tax to be imported into Malaysia.
• Before receiving supplies from the warehouse, ensure and monitoring the SST C1, C3, and C5 applications have appropriate amount, and update all SST certificates in SAP.
• To ensure the adherence of compliance with ISO, SOP and Custom with zero NCR.
• Monitoring the preparation and update progress of all shipment reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
