Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage daily site operations for construction of water intake structures, pipelines, pumping stations, reservoirs, and related infrastructure. Ensure works are carried out in accordance with contract specifications, drawings, and method statements. Monitor project progress and report to Project Director/Employer on key milestones, delays, and risks. Plan, coordinate, and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site workforce. Ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and resources. Enforce compliance with QMS (Quality Management System), ISO standards, and contract quality requirements. Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship and materials meet specifications. Liaise with consultants, client representatives, and authorities for inspections and approvals. Ensure environmental protection measures are implemented in compliance with DOE, DID, and relevant authorities. Implement and enforce site safety plans in line with OSHA 1994, FMA, and project-specific HSE guidelines. Ensure proper risk assessments and safe work procedures are in place. Assist in preparing progress claims to client and maintaining proper records. Highlight and mitigate potential contractual risks. Attend and lead site meetings, progress reviews, and coordination discussions.

Requirements

Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Minimum 5 years experience in infrastructure projects, preferably in water supply / pipeline / water treatment / dam / reservoir works. Proven experience managing large-scale civil and M&E construction works. Familiar with CIDB regulations, JKR standards, and Malaysian construction laws.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
