Job Description

Site Supervisor Responsibilities:

Inspecting Data Center construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential project bottlenecks.

Supervise the data center construction projects to ensure that the project is in accordance with the schedule and within budget

Coordinate all technical activities with client, suppliers and the project team ensuing specifications are as planned

Work closely with the Project Teams to review and propose revisions to project requirements when necessary

Provide the necessary coaching to co-workers and sub-contractors with the knowledge and skills.

Supervising and instructing the foreign manpower as well as subcontractors.

Educating site workers on construction do's and don'ts.

Enforcing strict supervision to maximize workers productivity.

Handling site accidents together with safety team.

Maintaining an accurate record of construction employee attendance.

Evaluating the performance of construction employees and instituting disciplinary measures as needed.

Recommending changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency.

Perform installation, termination, testing and labeling of cabling for CAT5e/CAT6, coaxial and fiber.

Perform site survey at any assigned locations and produce full report on findings.

Perform installation of caging, data center containment, cable containment, rack, IT equipment and other electrical/electornic devices.

Perform structural works such as painting, piping, demolition, partitioning etc.

Perform cabling troubleshooting onsite as and when required.

Purchase and collection of urgently required/unscoped materials.

Assisting in warehousing works such as receiving, sorting, and stocking items.

Site Supervisor Requirements:

Preferably post-secondary education.

Relevant certification in construction management, construction science, civil engineering, or related field not mandatory but will be a definite advantage as

Proven experience working as a site supervisor.

Sound knowledge of construction sites safety regulations.

Working knowledge of construction tools and equipment.

Outstanding leadership skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Knowledge and experience in operating cable testers including generating test result both in hardcopy and softcopy is an added advantage.

Availability during after-office hours, weekend or public holidays for emergency support.

The applicant MUST HAVE at least 2 years of experience in related fields

Valid motorbike & car driving license holder required

Valid GDL license holder advantageous but not required

CIDB & NIOSH valid card holder preferred but not required

Able to start work immediately
