- To assist the Project Engineer to monitor the progress of the project. - To plan the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines. To coordinating, monitoring and liaise with Project Engineer, subcontractors, supervisors and the general workforce to ensure the project completed within stipulated time frame, budget and standard quality. - To liaise with local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws. - To prepare progress report for the Project Engineer on all the activities at the site. - To monitor, setting out, leveling and surveying the site. - To check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations. - To manage, monitor and interpret the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect. - To communicate with clients and their representatives including attending regular meeting to keep them informed of the progress. - Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors. - To ensure that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications. - Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site. - To resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise. - Carry out the assignment assigned by Project Engineer from time to time. Requirement - Degree or Master in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic Engineering. - Registered with the Institute of Engineers Malaysia. - At least 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in construction field. - Good commands in English and Bahasa Malaysia. - Good understanding of field operations, procedures, engineering design, labour productivity, equipment performance. - Well versed in computer software applications especially Project Management, MS Word, MS Excel, AutoCAD etc. - Good communication and leadership skill. - Self-confident, versatile and motivated.
