Company Description
Our client is one of the largest construction consultancy firms in Asia that is focused on providing services such as Building Design, Construction and Cost Management, Architecture and Master Planning, and Industrial and Process Engineering among others for projects including buildings, real estate, infrastructure, and oil and gas.
Record and monitor contract variations and determine the costs involved. Measure construction works on site, including recording progress and valuing the work, based on agreed contract rates. Be involved in the forecasting of the final costs of the projects or work packages. Review tender documents and contract variations and use this to calculate the final figure payable. Produce and compile monthly reports on the progress of the projects. Record costs incurred, as well as future costs. Monitor risks and report on factors likely to affect profitability. Attend meetings with clients and advise them on any commercial issues that arise.
Education and Experience
Candidates will have a Degree or Diploma in Building / Quantity Surveying or equivalent with 2-5 years\' working experience as Quantity Surveyor with a PMC company. You will have experience in measurement of quantities and tendering.
