Job Description

Promotes awareness and provides daily advise and guidance to site operational staff on occupational health and safety policies and regulations including cleanliness and housekeeping while in the field and RTT yard. Conducts ongoing safety inspections of facilities, operations, and equipment to ensure compliance to VMM golden rules and safe working environment for colleagues. Analyses routine job tasks for hazards and promotes safer ways of working. Ensure all prescribed Safety Rules and Regulations are followed by the team members. To encourage and direct maintenance crews to adhere to time targets as set by the company and client during shutdown and breakdown maintenance. Administers, measures, and supports safety performance. Responsible for site vehicle condition and compliance, supported by site management. Responsible for RTTM Site Compound conditions, keeping tidy and in orderly fashion at all times. Supervise on proper tools and equipment handling and report any unsafe or unsatisfactory tools & equipment. Recommend improvements in working methods and task execution. Ensure timely and accurate completion of paperwork; shift / jobfront report. Must be prepared for flexible working hours in relation to the nature of duties performed. Accurately, and in a timely manner, complete all the required tasks. Undertake and complete any other assignment that may assign from time to time.

Requirements:

Diploma with Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) qualification. Yellow Book holder. 3 years of work experience in similar capacity. Good people management and handling skills. Able to respond immediately to any emergency situation. Good analytical skills. Able to do strategic planning and take actions. Strength and power to initiate new ideas. A good team leader that is able to motivate the team, and ensure high performance and targets are met. Good negotiations and communications skills. Self-motivated. Continuous learning and self-development.. Courage to make decisions and take ownership of each task.

Basic + site allowance + OT

Extra hours allowance: RM25 per hours (if need to work during breakdown/shutdown) - Mon to Sat

Extra hours allowance: RM38 per hours (if need to work during breakdown/shutdown) - Sun or PH

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,700.00 - RM5,200.00 per month
