Job Description

We are a leading specialist in high-quality architectural wet trades. We are looking for a motivated and eager Site Supervisor Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in managing active construction sites.

This is a paid internship perfect for a construction student or recent graduate who wants to learn the ropes of site supervision from the ground up. You will work directly with our experienced site managers on projects involving

plastering, skimming, tiling, brickwork, and blockwork.

What you will do:

1. On-Site Leadership & Coordination:

Supervise, direct, and motivate bricklaying, plastering, and tiling crews on site. Plan and coordinate daily work schedules, manpower, and resources efficiently. Liaise with main contractors, site managers, and other trades to ensure smooth project progression.

2. Quality Control:

Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Conduct regular inspections of work in progress and finished work, addressing any deficiencies immediately.

3. Health & Safety:

Enforce and promote a strict safety-first culture on site. Ensure all site activities comply with company and regulatory H&S policies. Conduct toolbox talks and site inductions.

4. Programme & Progress Management:

Monitor site progress against the project programme and prepare daily report . Proactively identify and help resolve any potential delays or issues.

5. Resource Management:

Monitor material usage and coordinate deliveries to minimise waste and ensure availability. Manage on-site plant and equipment.

Who We Are Looking For:

Proven experience as a Site Supervisor, Foreman, or a senior tradesperson in brickwork, plastering, or tiling. In-depth, practical knowledge of architectural wet trades (brickwork, blockwork, plastering, skimming, tiling). Strong understanding of construction health and safety regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. IT literate and highly organised. Valid driver's license and own reliable transportation.
