Manage the planned/unplanned disruption of production infrastructure to ensure accountability for alert optimization, alert analysis and building alert knowledge base.

Efficiency
Identify opportunities to eliminate all manual and repeatable activities (toil) via meticulous monitoring and collaborating with PE and SRE teams
Reduce the number of duplicated alerts by rationalizing those alert scientifically
Capacity Planning
Support PE and SRE teams for automated predictive analysis by providing alerts and logs
Continuously monitor all services in production for any discrepancies or spikes

Availability/Observability
Lead, own, manage, monitor and optimize the reliability and health of all environments
Provide complete observability requirements and data points to PE and SRE teams to design, code, implement break fixes to improve service availability based on outcomes from thematic alert reviews and FMEA grooming

Identify the opportunities to increase the alert capabilities
Preparing comprehensive FMEAs to help managing the production environment as first level of defence
Optimize monitoring to reduce false positive alerts
Creatively deepen monitoring capabilities leveraging the 3 tenets of observability - logs, metrics and traces
Ensure all critical user service journeys are traceable end to end
Ensure Production Solutions are fit for purpose. Where gaps are identified put a plan in place to uplift the toolset

Skill Sets:
More than 14 years of overall IT experience in application development, production support, DevOps
Or added support engineer.
Any experience in 1 or more of the following technical skills will be added advantage.
