Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we\xe2\x80\x99re looking to add an Equipment Engineer located in Bukit Minyak, Penang.

What a typical day looks like:

• Equipment technical capability enhancement in support of growing new, existing business build and product transfer, Support required for SPI AOI , AXI equipment.
• To Continue enhanced equipment knowledge and keeping track with the latest technology with respect to individual area.
• Successful handshaking when handled over equipment\xe2\x80\x99s to business unit engineering ensuring smooth and effective pass over with proper training coverage.
• Proper and documented all equipment\xe2\x80\x99s commissioning to ensure lines are not impacted.
• To be able to lead Business Unit engineers and technicians and in equipment projects assigned with proper executions
• Coordinate and execute flawlessly plant wide equipment relate activity when assigned.
• Coordinate to ensure proper equipment maintenance in Business Unit through regular audit/Checks as well as monitoring the Business Unit practicing.
• Formulation of standardized procedures for equipment.
• Support EDM/Equipment expenses/ approvals for parts used in equipment.
• Support NPI and urgent customer escalation activities assigned from time to time .
• Responsible to review reports for ISO requirement
• May require travel to other Flex sites or equipment vendors\xe2\x80\x99 locations.
• Highest level may perform both software and hardware maintenance.
• Technical problem solving and provide RCCA.

The experience we\xe2\x80\x99re looking to add to our team:

• At least a Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience of 4 years.
• Equipment Knowledge and experience in AOI , SPI , 3DAOI and 5DX is required.
