DescriptionPrimary Objective:-Provide strategic guidance and support to regional CFOs/ Heads of Finance to align regional strategy, performance, and controls with Group\xe2\x80\x99s directions/ objectives/practices-Ensure alignment on the adoption of Group\xe2\x80\x99s framework/policies/guidelines/processes by overseas branches/subsidiaries and establish policies/ guidelines/processes (where applicable)-Main liaison for Singapore and Thailand
Key Responsibilities:1.To provide strategic guidance and support to regional CFOs/ Heads of Finance

• To provide strategic guidance and support during the review of overall balance sheet growth, i.e. assets and liabilities and ensure alignment of business strategy to achieve the required financial performance goals

• To provide support and advice during the assessment on the overall health status of balance sheet, including the oversight on asset and liability management, which entails long-term funding, liquidity and foreign exchange risk

• To provide support and advice to ensure allocated capital are efficiently and optimally consumed, achieving the desired financial objectives

2.Acts as the main liaison/contact point for Group-wide communication

• Intermediary between Group Finance and Regional Finance

• Ensure seamless and timely communication, especially on new/group-wide initiatives and updates on practices/processes undertaken by Group

3.Ensure alignment on the adoption of Group\xe2\x80\x99s framework/policies/guidelines/processes by overseas branches/subsidiaries

• To provide guidance and support during the establishment of policy and process for regulatory reporting to local regulators

• To provide guidance and support during the establishment of policy and process for accounting & financial reporting

• To ensure alignment with Group\xe2\x80\x99s capital management framework/policy/guideline

• To ensure alignment with Group\xe2\x80\x99s data governance framework/policy

• To ensure alignment with Group\xe2\x80\x99s methodology on business case and post-implementation review

4.Gap assessment on practices and processes of overseas branches/subsidiaries (finance-related areas only)

• To initiate, plan and drive gap assessment to ensure overall alignment with Group\xe2\x80\x99s practices/processes, including periodic gap assessment (where applicable)

• To provide oversight on the re-alignment of practices and processes

RequirementsRequirements:

• Must have finance background, preferably ACCA / equivalent

• Minimum 7-years of experience
