Description

Primary Objective:

  • To safeguard quality of corporate loan & asset through proactive management of high risk / distressed accounts identified for Enhanced Account Management strategy with the Business Teams to prevent losses/ impairment and improve group P&L.
  • To capitalize on the use of early warning signal tools to ensure the identified relevant accounts are managed through watch list strategy
  • To undertake ad hoc review under to identify critical credits and recommend appropriate action plan/account strategy for Business Team\xe2\x80\x99s adoption to protect the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s interest.
To manage special assets portfolio to protect asset quality
Key Responsibilities:

cope & Complexity * Identify underlying problems and concerns that lead to deterioration of credit risk profile and / or caused financial distress to the accounts to alleviate further deterioration to asset quality.
  • Work with Relationship Managers on solutions to rehabilitate distressed accounts as well as manage assets under exit strategy out of Corporate books or nurture distress account back to regular account status.
  • To manage impaired ratio and loan loss provision within the portfolio allocated and ensure they are within budget.
  • Oversees reporting of EAM accounts and jointly work with business teams to manage these accounts to preserve the asset quality.
  • Liaise with Group Credit Management on updates and reporting of distress, EAM/AST accounts to Group Credit Committee.
  • Monitoring of MIA, excesses, past due & adverse market information etc. to ensure account regularization on timely manner to avoid MFRS9 trigger.
  • Undertake account review on timely basis without expired review
  • Preparation of presentation deck for relevant committee meetings purpose such as Credit War Room
  • Reporting of related loan portfolio status to regulatory and internal stakeholders on regular and ad-hoc basis
  • Collaborate with Loan Recovery Division on impaired accounts management, if need be
Stakeholders Management
  • Establish cordial relationship with customers, Relationship Managers, Credit Managers, Loan Recovery Managers etc., to foster strong working relationship to achieve divisional objectives.
Compliance & Credit Monitoring
  • Liaise with COD & Relationship Managers on MOF breaches accounts to ensure compliance of covenants, Credit Policies & Guidelines.
  • To ensure account portfolio is managed in compliance with internal policies and guidelines include Compliance, Risk and Internal Audit guidelines
Requirements

Requirements:
Bachelor Degree - \xe2\x80\xa2 Bachelor\'s Degree in Marketing/Business Administration/Economics or equivalent.

- \xe2\x80\xa2 Pass Certified Credit Professional (CCP) \xe2\x80\xa2 Pass Omega\'s Credit Skill Assessment (CSA)
  • Min 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in corporate and/or investment banking at an established Financial Institution
Good credit writing, analysis and structuring skills
  • Good in Marketing / Business prospecting and negotiating skills.
  • Driven, organized and possess strong relationship management skills.
