Social Media Manager (Team Lead)
We're looking for an experienced, strategic, and inspiring Social Media Manager to lead our digital presence and manage a team of at least two social media executives/specialists. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader who will set the tone for our online voice, drive significant results, and ensure our social channels reflect the highest standards of digital excellence. You will not just manage content; you will mentor a team, own the social media strategy across the organization, and present executive-level performance insights.

Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Development
Team Management & Mentorship: Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Social Media Executives and/or Specialists (minimum of 2 people). Conduct regular check-ins, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate professional development to elevate the team's skills and performance.
Work Allocation & Oversight: Oversee the day-to-day workflow, content calendars, and project assignments for the team, ensuring deadlines are met and all output is of the highest quality and adheres to brand guidelines.
Foster Excellence: Cultivate a team culture that takes immense pride in the quality and performance of all managed social media accounts, driving a standard of excellence across all platforms.
2. High-Level Strategy & Brand Guardianship
Strategic Vision: Develop and own the overarching, comprehensive social media strategy across all platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube) to align directly with organizational marketing goals and business objectives.
Deep Brand Embodiment: Serve as the chief Brand Guardian for all social media channels. Ensure the team thoroughly understands the brand managed and consistently crafts compelling content, social media copies, and campaigns that authentically represent the brand voice, tone, and values.
Innovation & Trend Leadership: Stay ahead of the curve on platform updates, algorithm changes, emerging social media trends, and competitive landscape analysis to ensure our strategies are always innovative, effective, and optimized for maximum reach and engagement.
3. Performance Analysis & Executive Reporting
Strategic Reporting: Own the performance measurement framework. Prepare and present high-level, executive social media reports that translate complex data into clear, strategic insights on ROI, audience growth, and campaign effectiveness.
Budget Management: Manage the social media budget for content, tools, and paid media efforts, ensuring maximum efficiency and return on investment.
Data-Driven Decisions: Use analytics tools to meticulously monitor KPIs and performance metrics, leveraging data to continually optimize and evolve the strategy.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence
Key Stakeholder Alignment: Work closely with Marketing Directors, Account Servicing, Product, and Sales teams to integrate social media efforts into broader marketing campaigns and product launches.
Influencer Strategy: Direct the team's efforts in identifying, vetting, and managing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and influencers, developing scalable and impactful collaboration strategies.
Website Oversight: Direct the overall strategy for website content oversight, ensuring brand alignment, SEO best practices, and seamless support for social media campaigns.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in a digital marketing or social media role, with a strong focus on strategy and content management.
Minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience in managing and mentoring a team of at least 2 direct reports (e.g., Social Media Executives, Specialists, or Coordinators).
Demonstrable expertise in developing and executing multi-platform social media strategies that drive measurable business results.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strategic mindset and the ability to articulate a clear brand vision.
Proven ability to present complex data and actionable insights to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Proficiency in utilizing advanced social media analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics) and experience directing SEO-friendly content strategy.
Experience with KOL/influencer program management and budget oversight is required.
Knowledge of Supermetrics and Looker Studio will be considered a significant bonus.
Experience working with diverse regional markets (e.g., across Southeast Asia, APAC) will be a strong advantage.
