Responsibilities:

• As a Responsible Sourcing with a specific focus on Scope 3 emissions engagement, you will play a crucial role.
• Better Days commitment to environmental sustainability and responsible sourcing practices.
• You will work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and other external partners to identify, analyze, and mitigate Scope 3 emissions risks and opportunities across our value chain.
• Scope 3 Emissions Analysis: Conduct comprehensive assessments and analysis of Scope 3 emissions associated with our value chain, including suppliers, logistics, and customer use of our products or services.
• Data Collection and Reporting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data related to Scope 3 emissions.
• Ensure accurate and timely collection, analysis, and reporting of emissions data to measure and monitor progress.
• Supplier Engagement: Develop and implement engagement strategies to promote responsible sourcing practices and emissions reduction initiatives among our suppliers.
• Collaborate with suppliers to set and achieve emission reduction targets and track performance.
• Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify potential environmental risks associated with Scope 3 emissions and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Implement measures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
• Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with the communications team to develop sustainability reports and other communications materials.
• Research and Innovation: Stay up to date with emerging trends, regulations, and industry best practices related to Scope 3 emissions and responsible sourcing
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across , including R&D, supply chain, sustainability, and finance, to integrate Scope 3 emissions considerations into their processes and decision-making.

• Knowledge: Strong understanding of environmental, social, and governance principles, sustainability frameworks, and global emissions protocols (e.g., GHG Protocol, CDP).
• Familiarity with carbon accounting and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodologies is a plus.
• Sustainability Mindset: Passionate about environmental sustainability and responsible business practices.
• Familiarity with sustainable sourcing practices, circular economy concepts, and renewable energy solutions is beneficial.
• Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of relevant industries and sectors, including supply chain dynamics, manufacturing processes, transportation, and customer behavior.
• Awareness of emerging trends and regulations related.
• Project Management- Able to develop a detail project plan to track
